Meeting of the Head of Civil Service Bureau of Georgia with Public Service Department representative of Ukraine

On February 22, 2010, The Head of the Civil Service Bureau Irakli Kotetishvili met the Deputy Head of the Public Service Department of Ukraine Natalya Karichenko.

The meeting was dedicated towards introducing reform process in Georgia and Ukraine. The parties discussed existing problems and challenges in the field.

The Head of the Civil Service Bureau briefed his Ukrainian colleague on projects implemented by CSB in past two years:

1. Publicity of asset declarations of public officials;
2. Complete Online Declaration System;
3. Introduction of unified standards and electronic system of HR management;
4. New draft of civil service code.

The parties also discussed the possibility of mutual partnership in the civil service sector.
