‘Knowledge Transfer Campaign’ – Best Practices to be shared
Two-day ‘best practice meetings’ took place on March 6-7, as part of the Knowledge Transfer Campaign, initiated by the Civil Service Bureau with the support of the NATO-Georgia Professional Development Program (PDP).
The main goal of the campaign is to develop HRM systems in the civil service agencies by fostering professional ties and sharing local knowledge and experience.
The best practice meetings were attended by HR Managers and specialists representing the public institutions participating in the campaign. Experts from the United Kingdom, Norway and Lithuania were also invited to contribute to the workshop, the main aim of which was to encourage sharing information on local and international best practices on pre-determined key issues of HR management.
The first part of the event was devoted to a review of the best practices of HRM found at the local level. Afterwards the international experts stepped in to present and share the existing international experience and knowledge of the priority HR management topics. During the concluding part of the two-day workshop the meeting participants engaged in an open discussion with an emphasis on specific issues of particular interest.
