Memorandum signed between the Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan for Civil Service Affairs and the Civil Service Bureau of Georgia
Director of the Civil Service Bureau of Georgia, Irakli Kotetishvili, delivered his speech regarding the Civil Service Reform in Georgia at the Global Conference on “Modernising public service: improving the efficiency for sustainable development” held within the Astana Economic Forum.
At the end of the conference Irakli Kotetishvili and the Head of the Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan for Civil Service Affairs, Alikhan Baimenov, signed the Memorandum of Understanding between the Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan for Civil Service Affairs and the Civil Service Bureau of Georgia. The purpose of this Memorandum was to exchange information and experience in the field of civil service between the two parties.
Within the framework of the Memorandum, Georgia and Kazakhstan are planning to cooperate in the following key directions: expert consultations in the field of civil service; exchange of knowledge and experience; arrangement of training and internships for civil servants of the two countries; etc.
The Civil Service Bureau of Georgia is keen to establish fruitful relationships with other countries’ civil service agencies to further the practice of knowledge and experience sharing in the field of civil service.
