Project Management trainings at Civil Service Bureau
Meetings with the experts from EU continues as part of EU financed Twinning project at Civil Service Bureau.
From 16 to 18 October, Indria Askeloviciene, a Lithuanian expert in Project Management, head of communication and international cooperation division of the European Social Fund, held 3-day trainings to the employees of the Civil Service Bureau (CSB) of Georgia.
During these meetings much attention have been paid to PCM (Project cycle management), that was adopted by the Euro-commission in 1992 and serves as a basic aspect in Project Management. Issues like short term goals as the best way to tackle the long term strategic goals were underlined during the trainings. Expert discussed the way to organize, control and prioritize the participants’ role in projects.
Representatives of the CSB also got acquainted with EU and Lithuanian experience in Project Management, both in private sector as well as in civil services.
The training was held as part of the EU Twinning project to support the civil service reform in Georgia. This Twinning Project has been implemented since 2018 by the CSB of Georgia and Lithuanian government agencies.
