Accreditation of Professional Development Programs

HR Management

Quality control of professional development programs is a crucial process that ensures their effectiveness and compliance with the needs of civil servants.

The basic professional development programs for civil servants are subject to quality control by the National Center for Educational Quality Enhancement, in accordance with the rules established by Georgian legislation. Additional programs for civil servants operating in Georgia may also undergo quality control at the request of a public institution.

Accreditation is conducted by the LEPL - National Center for Education Quality Development, which forms an accreditation expert group. The rules governing the group's formation and activities are defined by accreditation regulations. An Accreditation Council for Civil Service Professional Development Programs is established to make decisions regarding accreditation. The members of this council are appointed and dismissed by the Head of the Civil Service Bureau. The accreditation period for a professional development program is five years.
