The Civil Service System
The Law of Georgia on Public Service includes public administration within the framework of civil service and determines the legal status of the entities engaged in public administration. Public administration is a function carried out by state bodies, autonomous republics, municipal authorities, and legal entities of public law. The persons implementing public administration in the above-mentioned bodies are public servants. The law also regulates the legal relationships of public servants, serving as the foundation for the establishment and functioning of a unified civil service system.
