Bureau Activities

General Information

The activities of the Civil Service Bureau involve implementing a unified state policy in the field of civil service to align with European Union values and principles of public administration. In compliance with current legislation, the Bureau coordinates and analyzes the current state of the civil service, develops guidelines and other methodological documents, enhances capacity, and fosters the professionalism of civil servants. Additionally, it assists public institutions in the consistent implementation of action standards, guidelines, and regulatory documents.

The Civil Service Bureau manages the following electronic platforms and continuously works on developing them to become more flexible, technically advanced, and tailored to customer needs:

  • HR.gov.ge: This website enables Georgian citizens to apply for various civil service positions and secure employment. It serves as the sole gateway to start a career in the civil service. The Civil Service Bureau publishes job openings on its website and checks the compliance of qualification requirements with Georgian legislation during the competition announcement stage. Additionally, the Bureau examines the candidate's compliance with the main formal requirements based on the application.

  • eLearning.csb.gov.ge: This electronic learning platform, built on Moodle, allows professional civil servants and other individuals to complete online courses offered by training providers.

  • eHRMS: This automated human resources management system is a unified database of civil service employees throughout the country. Its purpose, based on the collected statistical data, is to facilitate informed decision-making on human resources management issues and to automate certain processes.
