The Head of the Civil Service Bureau Irakli Kotetishvili,
met with students in the Public Administration and Local Governance program at
the Georgian Institute of Public Affairs (GIPA) on February 21, 2011.
The meeting addressed ongoing civil service reform in Georgia.
One of the main priorities of the Georgian Government is to improve civil service. The Civil Service Bureau is the coordinating body within this reform process. In this respect, the Bureau has developed a new draft of the Civil Service Code, which is based on New Public Management.
During the meeting, parties discussed E-Governance projects undertaken by the Georgian Government.
