NATO Professional Development Program in Georgia, under the request of the Civil Service Bureau and the Chancellery of the Government of Georgia, has developed training program entitled ‘Recruiting and selection in the civil service’, to prepare civil service organisations for large scale recruitment and selection procedures.
The Civil Service Bureau of Georgia conducted research on human resource management practice in different countries’ civil services. The paper emphasises the centralisation of human resource management processes with regard to recruitment and required skill profiles.
The Public Financial Disclosure System managed by the Civil Service Bureau of Georgia recently won a prestigious UN Public Service Award in the category of ‘Preventing and combating corruption in public service’.
